Not a patch on the original, of course, but good fun nonetheless I suppose.

Stevie's version is the best, but George Michael did - as usual - a good cover version as well!!

an interesting question about this song:
Why didn't Stevie just call it "Always"? Or even "Until"? I don't think the word "as" is used very much in the song, compared to those other two words.

well, in the chorus he sings: AS long as dolphisn fly and parrots live at sea.... and so on.
As is in it pretty often.

This might be my favorite song of all time and hearing this cheesy disco version made me gag. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later. -Miles Davis-

I’d never heard it before. And now that I have, I wish I hadn’t. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I first heard this as a long time ago. They were on an episode of the "Jeffersons". Sister Sledge played George's nieces or something...They were trying to get discovered and they sang this during a club scene. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
