i wouldn't be able to choose one over the other.
An individualist is a man who lives for his own sake and by his own mind; he neither sacrifices himself to others nor sacrifices others to himself...

And the sound of the 20th Century might someday be best transcribed by a…

Voodoo Chile, a Duchess, a Soothsayer, a Prince and a Duke.

...and James Brown, David Bowie, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Parliament/Funkadelic, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Bjork, Sly and the Family Stone, Frank Zappa, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Al Green, Talking Heads, Sam Cooke, The Who, Erykah Badu and countless others pictured here and elsewhere.

And, yes, I come from a long line of cheaters. wink

. "Inconsolable" with its piano solo, drool -- but hadn't Kimball departed by "Plumb?"

Yeah, but the band was still together--and that lushness was probably due to producer/drummer Ben Wittman as well as her producer/jazz pianist/ex-husband Allain Mallet--- that's his piano solo on "Inconsolable"...
Speaking of the "Plumb" album..IMO, her tune "Is This All" would've made a great Isley Brothers piece -- I can almost hear Ron singing that...

I guess Steady Pull is my favorite of her solo albums... BTW, I love that she got Marcus Miller and Joe Sample to sit in on a few tracks!
