I love those musical rants Neil likes to do at the end (like in "Whispers and Moans"). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Exactly my thoughts. It would have been a killer album had it been released by a new band.

i havent heard these guys in ages I absolutely adore them! I have all their albums- even when Curt left the band . They had a new album in 2004, called "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending", and then a "Greatest Hits" compilation last year that had a couple of new cuts on it. I had tix for their last tour, but they cancelled right before they played NJ. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I think the underlying point is that it's hard to narrow your musical taste down to one person or group. I went from Hendrix, thru Rick James & Prince, to Tears for Fears. Along the way I could hit so many other things, but I had to sit & decide on those 4 as my top choices. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I used to see him with Commissioned all the time (at my neighborhood megachurch in Md., at my college, etc.), and they put on an awesome show. I haven't seen him solo yet (except for the Commissioned Reunion DVD), but I've been scooping up his projects pretty consistently. He's the bomb. If church folks weren't so scandalous with dubbing and bootlegging, he'd be a superstar. His catalog, within his genre, probably rivals Prince's or Stevie Wonder's in the pop world.
