Hi all, I rarely post here but I haven't seen any posts about this guy so thought I'd start one! His name is Leon Jean-Marie from the UK. Think he's been around for a year or so but he has only just come to my attention.

In light of the whole Van Hunt situation, I'm not gonna even consider comparing him to Prince and risk the, 'till he sells 100 million records and changes the face of music he can't be compared to Prince etc..'! However like this sites main man he seems to be stylistically diverse (but pretty much always funky!), knows how to play a few instruments and actually seems to know his way round a recording studio! Like it, just hope he can get the backing..or he'll have to do what most UK artist are doing at the moment and jumping ship to the US to get work and promoted ..which is the normal trend..

The song 'Bed Of Nails' is produced by Mark Ronson. It's a bit of shame that an artist who seems quite capable of producing his own stuff has to bring in a 'named producer'. However on the flipside Ronson's celebrity should help draw attention to the record and help him on his way.
