How 2 collect record royalties?

Can anyone please give a recommendation on the best way 2 collect record royalty payments years past due? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not knowing enough about your situation...the RIAA is on your label's side and the AFM only handles sessions. There really is nothing protecting the Artist - except an expensive lawyer to help you sue the label.

If you have or share legal copyrights on material, you'd probably want to contact BMI or ASCAP (which ever one you're affiliated with).
They should have a record of the copyright info. Then you'd have to state your case as to usage and non-payment.

There's the Suge Knight "Dangle a fool outside his office window" technique. Though this should be your last resort. lol
