CDs last longer than cassettes. Perhaps especially in the whip.

Your best bet would be the Ipod Harmon System.

I don't fuck with 8-tracks or 78s or cylinders (lol!). Outside of that, I like most formats. Cassette, mp3, don't matter as long as I get that fix. Hell give me some hits out the overhead speakers at the supermarket and I'm good.

I still play all 3...
- some stuff I don't have on CD.
- my 8-track player's been acting funky, tho! I bought a head cleaner off ebay, but it's still playing weird. Time to bid on another one... sigh

great topic

normally my usual
format is vinyl/mp3/CDs

but I get the urge
to hear Gina Thompson
"The Things That You Do Bad Boy Remix"
everynow & then... a special mix
put on the b-side to the cassette single

this is probably one of
the last cassettes I own

back in like '96/'97
I went through some sort of
adolescent crisis I'm guessing
because I bagged all of my
cassette singles/maxi singles
and threw them away boxed
I think this was around the time
when CDs had become the popular format

I miss having a cassette player in my car.

My car had a CD and cassette player in it but both parts died within a month of each other!

When I replaced it I just got a cd deck.

That's too bad! I sold a bunch of cassettes in grade 6 at a garage sale... I ended up regretting it and rebought stuff later.

Singles are a little harder to replace though.

you're RIGHT!
some of that stuff
I know I'll never find again
or won't be willing to pay
what is asked for it...

I used to have beaucoup CD singles too
(those were all the rage in HS)
and I sold those in a garage sale
I think I did em like 10 for a buck or something

I have my entire Prince collection on cassette up until U couldn't get them like that anymore. One day I got scare that the tapes would warp or break and replaced the entire thing on CD, except for a few things- but not the commercially released albums.

no... just stupidity lol
I'm sort of a packrat
and I was like
what's the sense in keeping
all of this stuff???

I went through a very unexplainable
adolescence when it comes to
stuff like that... I'd react on impulse
these days I will think things through
before I make a stupid decision LOL

it'd be so cool though
so dig through a box of cassettes
right about now sad
