Acceptable In The 80's! Merrymaking At My Place! x 2. Oh god, HamsterHuey. YES! I am all about some darn Calvin Harris. Whenever I hear his music somewhere, I act a fool. Those two songs, plus "The Girls" are, like, addictive in the best ways.

It's just interesting that Jimi Hendrix was questioned for the "blackness" of his music. I remember my mom (who is black) saying that even The Motown Sound of the 1960s -- stuff like the Supremes, Marvelettes, the Vandellas, Four Tops -- was actually considered "too white" at the time by her peers.
