Toni did not really have the change her style but I guess the record company and management wanted to change her classy look. I am glad she is changing, in the interview she has admitted that doing Vegas made her realize that people and herself love and respond to her ballads and smooth singing more than her dance tracks.

She said she loves singing ballads. I believe they really expose he vocal ability.

She said there is not going to be any hip hop or trihop and any of that type of stuff just pure R&B and soul music. Like her first two albums.

Yes toni baby about time. I mean she was at her best on the first two
albums singing those lush ballads. Even on the secrets album she had
the lead off dance single you're making me high which was cool but then
she toned it back down on the rest of the album with ballads like
i love me some him,how could an angel break my heart,unbreak my heart,etc.
which is classic toni. Even the heat album was very good with ballads like
just be a man about it and spanish guitar but she lost her damn mind on
the more than a woman and libra cd. I wish artists like toni would quit giving
in to the pressure of trying to keep current with this bullshit market and
do what you do best.
