This is for Teddy. Soul brotha with no respect. When people mention who are the greatest soul singers of all time you always hear these names: Smokey and Marvin, Sam and Otis, Barry and Luther, Stevie and Ray, Freddie and Peabo, and even Michael and Prince. But hardly ever do the name comes up of Teddy Pendergrass. Why? I don't understand. He has a charisma and sultry voice that can't be matched. And 1 million screaming ladies can't possibly be wrong right? So in honor of you Teddy, I'm going to list my all time fave jams from you. I would like for all you other fans to list your top 20 fave songs by "Teddy Bear". You can also include Blue Notes songs as well. Here are mine:
1. Love T.K.O. 2. Close The Door 3. Joy 4. You're My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration 5. Bad Luck-Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes 6. Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose 7. Turn Off The Lights 8. The Love I Lost-Harold Melvin 9. I Miss You-Harold Melvin 10. Feel The Fire (w/ Stephanie Mills) 11. I Don't Love You Anymore 12. Come Go With Me 13. Wake Up Everybody-Harold Melvin 14. Choose Me 15. If You Don't Know Me By Now-Harold Melvin 16. Life Is A Song Worth Singing 17. When Somebody Loves You Back 18. It Should've Been You 19. Hold Me (w/Whitney Houston) 20. The Whole Town's Laughing At Me Peace and be wild!

And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The Whole Town's Laughing At Me I may be wrong, but I think it has something to do with his accident. It was said that he was doing some strange things while in that van. To this day, the details of the accident have yet to come out. Some say that he was with another man and they were things that they should not have been doing, (at least while driving, anyway). I grew up on him so to me, he will always be one of my favorites.... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Elvis is forgiven for his issues but Teddy will always be a BAD kind of superfreak sad but true.
