I know it was probably cooler to leave them out, and it showed a stronger reference to the material, but this thread isn't complete without them...

Phil was the shit (God rest his soul). Phil could have whuped Motley Crue's butts with one hand tied behind his back.
My fave Lizzy joints are "Live/Life 83", "Live And Dangerous", and "Johnny The Fox". "Solo In Soho" by Phil is cool too.

Yeah, huge fan of Thin Lizzy and an even bigger fan of Phil Lynot's. Great band. As popular as they are, I always thought of them as underrated. I know Phil was slated to play Jimi then he died. Now someone needs to play Phil in a film about him. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Have n't much about the project in years , but there were scheduling problems'cause Dourdan had a commitment to CSI. Apparently Dourdan plays bass so this was an asset for the role.

Thin Lizzy were great!
The Brian Robertson/ Scott Gorham guitar combination was classic. Gary Moore played great with them too. Emerald, Still In Love With You, Dancing In The Moonlight, Don't Believe A Word..so many great songs. One thing though, Minn...was it really St Patrick's Day yesterday...?: http://www.channel4.com/n...008/608847 This is not an exit

A friend of mine used to know Brian Robertson quite well. Can you believe that he was 16 when he joined the band? He works in a guitar shop in Islington - meant to be a very nice bloke.
Phil Lynott shagged Andrea Corr when she was 12, the dirty sod.

I saw them in 2005 with John Sykes doing vocals. It was a real emotional experience and i was nearly in tears when they did The Boys Are Back In Town, it was truly strange as no gig as left me that emotional. Thin Lizzy were and are massively underrated. Ive been playing Thunder And Lightning a lot lately, brilliant album. Im also a big fan of the Fighting album. Its hard to pick my fave song but fave ballad is Wild One.

While certainly a casual fan of Lizzy, I once saw Eric Bell, the band's original guitarist, play a solo gig with his band several years ago.
He was extremely ... average .

This is a man who I have idolised since 1976. I know that in the last 3 or so years of his life Phil 'hit the skids' so to speak but..... Can you give me so details on this? She came on to him in a club called Lillie Bordellos's in Dublin. She's no saint. I heard this from the tour manager of Thin Lizzy who sadly passed away about 10 or so years ago.

"The boys are back in town
The boys are back in town!" That song got MAJOR airplay when it was first released. I never got tired of it, either. It's just one of those songs that you just enjoy listening to. [Edited 3/19/08 10:30am] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Just recovering from St. Patricks Day...
Love Thin Lizzy with and without Gary Moore. The hits are nice but the deep cuts are where they were coming from. Hi Minne!
