i loved her appearance.
now vocally, on TMB she was saved by her back up singers and the backing track on the verses, and was failed by her voice at the belting at the end. But Migrate was very good, she was pretty comfortable with that singing/kinda rapping style, and her voice didn't fail her at the belting towards the end, it opened up and she pulled it off decently. | |

Mariah has always been stiff. Are people only just noticing that now?
Vocals? Well, she's been struggling with those for years too. Are people only just noticing that as well? Thirdly, the material she's doing is low on energy anyway, so all in all, there is no way you could not have a wack performance. The best you could've hoped for was that she dressed like a hooker and gave us all something to drool over while she was cooing away. Usually she's very reliable on that score, but for some reason she forgot that part of her contract. I think Mariah's performances are completely dependent on the material. She surprised me at Live 8 in 2005 with how good her performance was. I really wasn't expecting that, but I think it was partly that she did an uplifting track ("Make It Happen") which demanded more energy from her. She was also having less vocal problems than usual that day (I think she may have mimed WBT though). “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
