"fallin" is Alicia's best song..

This is her performance of it from her current tour.

I wonder will she ever top it?

It's a good tune, but it's way too overrated. Yes, it was the song that put her whole career into orbit and all, but it isn't my favorite of hers. I personally pefer You Don't Know My Name or Diary to be my top faves by Alicia.

Fallin' is great but after three studio albums there are tracks that mean more to me.

Meh. I'll take "If I Ain't Got You," "You Don't Know My Name," and "A Woman's Worth." You can have the rest. lol

Oh my God I hate hate hate that song.
In my opinion, every song she's done since then has topped it.
It's so boring and hum drum.

Between that & "If I Ain't Got You" I lean more toward the latter, but "Fallin" will remain her signature song for the rest of her days...

I like the song a lot but if I never hear it again, I will NOT be sad at all. To me her best songs are "If I Ain't Got You" and "You Don't Know My Name."
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I didn't know so many people liked YDKMN. I forget about that song a lot, but it's weird because it does bring back memories of the time it was released when I hear it.

If I Ain't Got You was never one of my favorites, but it's a nice song.

yeah that's a beautiful song, kanye produced it. The rest of her second album is also very nice, but I've lost it.

Yeah, I kinda like it, but it didn't impress me the way it impressed others! I way, way prefer "If I ain't go you", "You don't know my name" and especially "No one"! I saw her in concert last friday... and while "Fallin'" was a pinnacle of the show, judging by the crowd reaction, it still got easily topped by "No one" and "If I ain't got you"!

I like that one a LOT but her little monologue @ the end kills it for me & I often end up skipping after a certain point, which is sad b/c the background singers sound SO GOOD on that part. I like it if she wouldda just shut the fuck up w/ all that corny shit... "can you hear me now?" BITCH PLEASE exclaim

Alicia bores me. Less than Snora Jones but more than John Legend, who has some good songs and still manages to be a snorefest.
"Falling" will be Alicia's "Purple Rain".
I can't stand to listen to either one.
The only thing I'll listen to by Alicia at this point is "Karma"

I liked "Fallin'" when it first came out but it really got overplayed.
Too many singers auditioning with it on the mass of reality shows.
Sad because it's not really Alicia's fault, it's a good song, but it was overdone to the point of super annoying.

My faves from her are probably Heartburn and Diary.

That's an easy fix. Stop watching reality shows!
