For me it’s no where near the magic that was Emancipation. If anything it reminds me of Charmbracelet... some gems amongst mediocre songs.

I kept wondering why the opening to For the Record sounded so familiar then I realized it was from the M commercial. As for Side Effects...I hate the rap, Young Jeezy, the beat, the key its in, and the arrangement. Ugh.

I heard the album sold 150k on the first day! and may sell close to 600k in the first week, thats amazing since it aint even holiday season...I guess alot of people waited for the album then download the single, although I think the single is already gold?

it is clear that the guy with braids/dreads has some sort of appeal to american idol fans/judges but he was not on the level of any of the other performers in my opinion. my thoughts were like randy's.. "i felt like i was at a luau, i didn't get it"
