She did do a kick ass version, but the best version to this day is still Air Supply's version on their "self titled" 1985 album, they tore that shit up! Never heard their version. The Celine Dion version is the most popular, I heard the Jennifer Rush version a while ago too.

Yeah Celine was the most popular, though the Jennifer Rush version was the original and was a smash all over the world except the usa. The Air Supply flipped the lyrics to "You are my Lady and I am your man" but it was a much better version than Celine because it had "life" in the vocals, Celine seems to knock the life out of ballads when she covers them. Cool, I have to look for the Air Supply version. I have a "Hits" CD of theirs, but that song isn't on it.

Yeah it wasnt a big single here for them, it was the second single from that 1985 "Air Supply" album, following up the Top 20 "just as i am" but the "Power of Love" i dont think made it past Number 80. It was a best of double version issued overseas that had about 45 tracks, i think it was on a re-mastered hits in the states, because that particular studio album is out of print to this day here.
