Damn, I remember this from the Richard Pryor Show--I haven't seen this since it first aired, what, almost 30 years ago (damn, I'm old, ) ... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

Richard must've been heavy on those drugs back in the day. Although it was a joke, it sure was a dark and scary thing for mainstream television back in the day. I'm still kinda freaked out by this clip, though! Check me out and add me on:

Paul Mooney & Richard always put together some good edgy comedy.

Richard's spirit MUST be in the wind here lately, cuz I've been speaking on Richard in other posts for the past two weeks. But uh, Aud, U probably don't remember this but u and I were on about this very episode and referenced it heavily in one of the first threads on The Verge. Cuz I talked about how it was a briliiant cross between Parliament and KISS. My two all time fave bands as a kid. But yeah, I have all of Richard's brilliant episodes from his t.v. show. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I loved that skit. I remember seeing it, when it aired. It was a shame Richard had to pull the plug on it, but understandable. Fresh, young, non superstar cast. all hand picked by Richard himself.

Sorry I thought you were going to start a discussion about the plague epidemic that wiped out most of Asia and Europe between 1346 and 1352.
Did you know that it stretched as far as north Sweden and half of Englands poulation died. London dropped from 50,000 in 1330 to less than 10,000 in 1360. In fact it took until 1525 for the population to reach pre plague levels and mass graves have been found all over central London. For something different 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince
