Just got this cd so I need to warm up to it more since i'm still sweating "Pride" but this album is really cool. I believe this is where he started doing some new wave. Johnny and Mary is a great song. I'm such a late bloomer but RP really did rock. So sad he's gone, he was truly talented. Anyone else feeling Clues, Pride or Robert Palmer in general??

Clues is great album. My personal favorite is Woke up Laughing.

Robert Palmer made some great albums My favorite being Riptide.

Also I would recommend Pressure Drop.

I would say it's a more of a blue eyed soul record. It's funkier and the music is more layered, horns and strings.

His voice is great on this album.
