It's almost as if Island signed her just to fuck with her! Janet's got to go indie and just do her own deal at this rate! That way, if the albums don't sell, who cares. Bet she will be more motivated to do promotion all over if she goes indie, too. | |

I think ballad wise she does, however i think she is pulling a Beyonce on the songs that are pushed to radio. I mean those lyrics are like everything else Tpain has written, so she probably tossed in a word or two and said "ok i'll sing that", not knocking her just saying its become the old "Lennon/McCartney" syndrome, that was put on every Bealtes song, but John Lennon and Paul McCartney stopped collaborating around 1965-66, 5 years before they broke up, it was just the title agreement. she's known for shutting the whole studio down during the writing process coz she hates it when some people jump in, throw a word or two and ask for credit.
so yes she writes/co-writes everything. as for the lyrics on her hip hop records, she always says that's why she enjoys collaborating with rappers, because they go back and fourth with different ideas. [Edited 3/12/08 16:19pm] | |

Maybe Janet is too blame for this, but I assume if you sign with a major label in this day and age, they would help guide your career. They are both on the same record label so they swapped appearance dates. It's not a conspiracy towards Janet, they got her the gig first & she got ill.
