How excited should I be? Very excited, its a really Cool album. Birdie is my favourite track, raw and uncut funk. Just like you is my jam, its quite long 9mins I think but you never get tired of it. War ship has some really nice touches from Bernie Worrell. Outstanding vocals from the ladies throughout. You won't be disappointed.

I love that song! It's a hard album to find, no? http://www.dustygroove.co...ncl_cs%3D1 (Apparently it is 'temporarily out of stock') Also, http://www1.gemm.com/c/se...%21=Search It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

That's on my list. I'm currently work through the P-Funk spin off albums. I've managed to Find Sweat band and Quasar which are both really enjoyable. I've got Andre Foxxe I'm Funk I'm Proud which has it's moments and Mico Wave Cookin' From the Outside in which was dissapointing as I love Bootsy but I've only listened to it twice so far. I'm thinking of going for Pleasure Principle and the first Mutiny album also very soon.

I have the vinyl, mint condition from back in the day, but I would LOVE to find this one on CD. A digital remastering of it would be the stuff dreams are made of. Just did get "Funk or Walk" on CD Imported from Japan back over the holidays.

The album came on Thursday and I've listened 4 times so far.
Overall it's great. side one is great especially lovin' Birdie. Just like you seemed a little overlong on first listen but just listened again and it was great from start to finish. Kinda hypnotic and dreamy. I'd say a 8/10. Another great P-Funk album for the collection.
