Leona Lewis? Is anyone here a fan?

From what I've heard, she's getting some serious love in Europe, but I think she's just breaking out in the US

I'm listening to Bleeding Love now and I frankly don't see what all the hype is about. She's pretty and has a nice voice I guess, but nothing superspecial

What do ya'll think?

If you will, so will I

What I was referring to was the fact that I got the following message when I tried to view the video.

We're sorry, this video is no longer available.

Anyway, I went and saw it on the YouTube site.
The song didn't really appeal to me but she's an *interesting looking woman.

*Translation: She's probably gonna get creamed here. smile

She's a stock, standard pop personality here in Europe that's part of the tv talent contest machine (like American Idol). As what happens with a lot of those kids, you should pretty much expect something boring, bland and safe to sell to the masses, not alot more...unless she sells millions internationally and gets some power playing under her belt. But again, she's a kid, she's part of of a well-oiled industry machine, so we shouldn't expect anything too daring from her shrug

A great PR team behind her and the support of Simon Cowell is the only reason she gets attention.

Her performances on the UK show X Factor were great. This cd is just OK. She was the best. They said she was the love child of Mariah and Whitney lol

Simon Cowell has hyped her azz. She's very meh, pretty to look at but just a cog in a machine, like someone else said. I really don't consider it a part of 'music', they're really trying to create a mainstream talk show, red carpet photo op, People magazine 50 most beautiful 'celebrity' marketing product.
