Yep, this is in my car. I am a slow burner... it takes me a while to "discover" a new sound... once I latch on, I have to go back to the catalogues to complete my collection.

I don't like to invest $$ in 1 hit wonders.. I can listen to top 40 for that. By the time I am convinced someone is here for a spell, they have already made 2 - 3 hit CDs.

Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Floetry, and Eryka are my latest... currently searching for old stuff by them.

I also go for 80s nostalgia (my heyday). So I am getting Teena Marie on CD, too cheap to buy a turntable for my vinyls. And Rick James... because he so identifiable with the 80s era for Black radio.
