The sheer poignancy of "Me" just left me as a clump on the floor. This would rank with the best Chaka Khan frankness done solo or with Rufus.

This is the album for me that moves Badu from being one of the better artists to a living legend who can bankroll an entire show based solely on music. No wild stunts, gossip or empty hype needed.

I already had "Baduizm" and "Mama's Gun", but "New Amerykah" made me want to invest in the rest of her catalog ("Live" and "Worldwide Underground").
