You look at these clips and it's the antithesis of the majority of what currently passes for a live performance.

1. Truly talented
2. Not really a "pretty man"
3. No dance troupe necessary to make up for the "performer's" lack of visual interest
4. Super band that can really play
5. No "performance aids" (backing tracks, musicians behind curtains, etc.)
6. No light show or pyrotechnics
