Cripes, I didn't even know the band was still together, I thought it split when that ZWAN project started.

i questioned this until i heard the record (zeitgeist) and saw the show. then i realized that shit was all billy, all the time.

Well, if you consider that D'arcy and James barely played on any of the albums then are they really necessary for the band to continue? I would vastly prefer for them to be with the band today but I don't think Billy should pack it in because they're not still with the band.

i'm sorry mike but i consider this ep to be the same shapeless
shit as the whole zeitgeist album. the only difference being
that on this ep the melodies are absent and replaced for total
snoozefest guitarpickings where the melodies or lack there of
was covered up in a wall of noize where you felt they were in
the studio just pushing everything to max and amping it up an
inch further still.

this ep is the opposite of the album but they are equal in the
lack of songwriting

I disagree....I think Zeitgeist was a very solid album, and a definite return to form. It doesn't scale the same heights as Siamese or Mellon Collie, but it still shows Billy and Jimmy back on track writing wise. That's The Way and Bring The Light are great tracks, and United States is a masterpiece (for Jimmy's drumming if nothing else). There are a couple of mis-steps but I was well pleased with it overall.
