Melegorm Video Appreciation Thread

There's a poster on YouTube who's obviously a big Steely Dan/Donald Fagen fan.
Melegorm has created original visuals (photomontage) to go along with some of my favorite SD/DF tunes.

The comments below each video are the ones Melegorm includes on the Youtube page.

Pixeleen...

...Rave on, my sleek and soulful cyberqueen" - Steely Dan's musical hommage to the ladies of videogame and cyber-reality in general.

The Night Belongs To Mona...

...Was it the fire downtown/that turned her world around?

Tomorrow's Girls...

...This tuneful and evocative song suggests an invasion of Earth by outer space beauties, the kind usually depicted on the covers of pulp magazines from the 1940's and 1950's. There may be another interpretation entirely, as often occurs with Steely Dan songs!

On The Dunes...

...Continuing with the sci-fi thread of "Tomorrow's Girls" and "Snowbound", things aren't quite as lively on Mizar Five as they used to be...

Aja...

...A photomontage of Steely Dan's legendary "Aja"

Maxine...

...One of the jewels of "The Nightfly" album - a wistful story of adolescent longing and the possibility of various futures, punctuated by a marvelous saxophone solo.

Glamour Profession...

...Hollywood I know your middle name/who inspires your fabled fools/that's my claim to fame...

Here at the Western World...

...Why go to the Moulin Rouge when you can go to the Western World?

FM...

...Nothing but blues and Elvis/and somebody else's favorite song...

The Nightfly...

...Meet Lester the Nightfly...

I always thought a radio talk show with subject matter like Coast to Coast ...

...should've used the tune The Nightfly as their theme song.
