If you haven't heard of this singer/songwriter by now, the album is FANTASTIC This is her tv debut on Ellen last month, she's doing Kimmel tonight & Craig Furgeson soon after. (for all you mf's into accolades, she was nominated for a Best Urban Alternative Performance Grammy but lost to Lupe Fiasco )...

The song is "Dream", I guess it's the single they're pushing & the one that played @ the end of an Entourage episode. If you're too impatient to let the song build, skip to 3:00. But it's worth the build so don't be a bitch like that, just listen to the whole thing! I think she's a bit nervous since this is her first tv appearance - she starts a little stiff & cracks a bit when she starts to belt it out (effortlessly, if I may say - the voice just leaps out of her). Trust me, I've seen this chick live 3 times & she's fucking amazing so any "mistakes" here are just nerves. Check her out, get the album, see her LIVE

Great thread, Cal! This girl needs more attention. I love her. The song 'Love Endeavor' is on a mix CD my friends and me often play to party to. I think I can say that some people here got to know about her because I started a thread, and I take pride in that. She's just that great. Hope she'll visit Europe some time.
