I just bought the new Madonna maxi-single "Die Another Day",which was just released.It contains the following tracks...

"Die Another Day"(Radio Edit) 3:27
"Die Another Day"(Dirty Vegas Main Mix) 10:08
"Die Another Day"(Thee RetroLectro Mix) 6:59
"Die Another Day"(Thunderpuss Club Mix) 9:25
"Die Another Day"(Deepsky Remix) 7:27
"Die Another Day"(Brother Brown's Bond-Age Club) 7:51

I also bought it on vinyl,and there is an additional remix "Dirty Vegas Dub"(9:10) that is not available on the CD maxi-single.However,the vinyl does NOT contain the" Radio Edit"version,or the "Brother Brown's Bond Age Club" remix.

First of all,let me just say that the photo on the cover is HOT!!! Tron knows how much I love this picture

The best remix is the "Thee RetroLectro Mix" by Felix da Housecat.It's radically different from the regular version,and it even contains some spoken Madonna lines that don't appear on any of the other versions.The "Dirty Vegas Main Mix" is great as well.Most surprising of all is the "Brother Brown's Bond-Age Club" remix.It's slower and more relaxed than the other remixes,which tend to be more loud and frantic.

But you know what? None of these remixes can compete with the familiar "Radio Edit" version.Mirwais' productions already sound like remixes anyway,and this song is no exception.The elastic,Dre-like beats are hypnotic,and the strings(by Michel Columbier) give the song a heavenly feel.The "Album Version" of this song appears on the actual soundtrack CD,due November 12.It fades out more impressively,and even includes the infamous Madonna laugh,followed by the line "I need to lie down".

This song just sucks, Mirwais please sell your Bontempi

I love the maxi single. I've only listened once so far and as I was preparing my calculus lecture at the time, I didn't know which mix was which, but I loved it!

I agree COMPLETELY...'Thee RetroLectro Mix' is the best of the mixes, but I think the edit version is perfect...

I WILL say, I hope the Mirwais influence on her cd is limited, as much as I like this song, he's using the same damn effects as last time around...they are fun and all, but if he doesn't learn a new trick soon...

From what I hear,Madonna's new CD will be very diverse,and she is working with several other producers in addition to Mirwais.She has already recorded songs with Dr. Dre,Paul Oakenfold and a French duo called Air.She's also working with Stuart Price (the keyboardist from her "Drowned World" tour band).She will also be playing guitar on some tracks,so I think it's gonna be a very eclectic,unique-sounding project.Here's a list of some songs I have heard about...

I loved the "Blonde Ambition Tour" that was broadcast on HBO back in the 90's... it truly showed her talents in giving one hell of a show; the theatrics, the choreography, the set list... damn, Maddy has had her share of hits.

I LOVE the "Girlie Show" DVD,did y'all see that? It's from her 1993 tour which only played a few dates in the U.S. It's an AMAZING performance!! Her 70s Disco-inspired performance of "Deeper and Deeper" is CLASSIC,and I love how she segues into "Why's It So Hard"...sensational!!!
