"Wild Wild West" - The Escape Club Appreciation "Wild Wild West" by The Escape Club. Wow! I love this song! I just discovered it today. Amazing. It reminds me of a little Huey Lewis & The News, a little bit of INXS, and a little bit of The B-52's.
It is so much pop and so much fun. I love it! Appreciation aside, I have a feeling this song was big, but obviously didn't get into it when it was released. So how big was this song? I can imagine it being play at like sporting events and things of that sort. [Edited 3/5/08 19:55pm] MJ Fan 1992-Forever

I got their second album "sex and dollers". It shocked me that
a) they are british b) did not have any big hits in the UK (like Wang chung) I wonder if cheese meister Peter Wolf produced "wild wild west"? He is one of my all time fav producers and also produced their second album "sex and dollers". Not a bad album actually. Wouldn't mind trying the album "wild wild west" is off... I found 2 videos off their second album... http://www.youtube.com/wa...V7RJXLwTvA "call it poison" is extremely dated. Some sort of lovechild of Inxs and Roxette. Love it though. http://www.youtube.com/wa...re=related "I'll be there" is a nice song actually. Typical Peter Wolf production. I love this mans work LOL. | |

This song brings back good memories of high school for me. Especially on the band bus. Everytime it came on the radio, we all got up and danced and got pretty rowdy. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
