JoeTyler said: 10.All the things she said That was my actual favorite as a kid in the 80s. In the 90s I liked "Dont You Forget About Me". In the `08 it's all about "Alive And Kicking".

Amazing New Wave band
I've concluded that their early work is the best. From the first album "Life in a Day" to "New Gold Dream", Simple Minds were on fire! I strongly recommend that all the fans should get the "Early Gold" compilation. My favorite tunes: CHANGELING!!! Promised You a Miracle Sweat in Bullet Love Song Naked Eye Another Sad Affair Factory I Travel Naked Eye Upon The Catwalk All The Things She Said Celebrate New Gold Dream 81-82-83-84 Carnival No Cure Chelsea Girl Alive and Kicking Colours Fly Calling Your Name The American Veldt Don't You Forget About Me Citizens Somebody Up There Likes You NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

first concert I ever went to: Simple Minds, Wembley Stadium 1989, Street Fighting Years tour.
I love the fact that they really reinvent songs when they play them live, adding new parts, changing tempo drastically and completely rearranging them. Fave album probably Sparkle In The Rain, songs...? Hmmmmm Ghostdancing King Is White & In The Crowd (live) Up On The Catwalk Real Life (live) East At Easter Promised You A Miracle Someone Somewhere In Summertime... etc etc This is not an exit

Best song Someone Somewhere in Summertime - superb! My brother got married in Taormina and we bumped into Jim Kerr in a pub watching football with his son and g/friend. Nice bloke
