Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Sucks and Will Keep Sucking-This is Why At least with the Grammys, the board of directors and the other governing bodies eventually give recognition and honor to unsung musicians, singers and other people who contributed greatly to recorded music. With the 2008 Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame induction, I'm not impressed. I'm basically pissed because bands and other recording artists who truly make and sing great music and capitivate audiences and have a lasting impression on music are always screwed over during the nominating process. I mean the '08 class cannot possibly hold a candle to Towert Of Power, Average White Band, Mandrill, Chaka Khan. Most of the groups I'm passionate about play Black music.Music I dig is usually soulful, display actual musicianship and quality songwriting. I don't care whether they are black, white, green, purple, it just astonishes me that the truly talented and most deserving of these accolades are cast aside "good back in the day", while the imitators gather the record sales, and prominence.
I've never cared for the ROR Hall Of Fame with the exception of the year Prince was inducted, but at least the bands honored were good, but now I understand just how shitty music is now with the crap shown on TRL, 106 And Park. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

I think the main problem with the RRHOF is that they are trying to encompass too many different types of music. Its becoming a catch all kind of institution.
That and its now nothing more than a Hard Rock Cafe type of commercial establishment. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.
