Cross 110th Street - Song???

I've been listening to Virgin Groove & Soul digital radio station alot lately and last night they played a track that I've heard a few times before and really like. I didn't catch the title or artist but the chorus repeated something about "cross 110th Street".....

....anyone got any ideas???

Thanks gang!

Just found it myself as well (thought I'd be lazy first and stick a shout-out on here)....thanks for the info though, much appreciated. What a great tune! Jackie Brown had a great soundtrack, QT has a great ear for music!!

no problemo. smile and nod about tarantino's movies. part of why they're all so cool.

Bobby Womack....

...reminds of a time I wanted to get hold of a copy of "Teardrops" by Womack & Womack. There's a good second hand CD shop in our town that has a pretty extensive back catalogue; problem is its one of those goth/emo, suedo heavy rock places. The guys that run it always had a load of their sweaty mates in there listening to ear-splitting music all day, and the place smelled like the inside of a bag of cheese doritos. So imagine me walking to the front till with a copy of Womack & Womack's Conscience album in my hand....."wow, Womack and Womack and Womack and Womack and Womack....cool" the sarcastic twat behind the desk said. It was a while before I went back there.

I'll have to have nose on Limewire (which is where I get hold of alot of my stuff...though, it is a bit shite if you want something specific/rare). Cheers for the tip though.

Is this the version that's played at the beginning of the movie? I have the DVD and the version I hear at the beginnning of the movie is not the same, familiar version that was released as a single.I prefer the single version.

I prefer the single version as well, but it's interesting comparing the two.
