I would like to suggest that you all go to Rolling Stone.com and read the interview with Tom Petty. The man says it like it is. I am not a huge fan of Tom, although I do like some of his music, but I believe he is 100% correct about what he thinks and says about the music biz. Please read and pass it along to your friends.

As a side note...doesn't Rollingstone.com suck? Sheesh, I mean, it's just badly designed...like they can't find their way as far a image on the net. Loads slow too, navigations kinds bad, and too many ads.

Be my guest and take over ths thread. I do not mind at all. I think everyone should read Tom's interview. I am a "dudette", not a "dude". And yes, I think rolling stone sucks. Their site is awful and their magazine is even worse. It's just a crappy pop mag yet it used to be a great music mag.
