Alice is funny live. If I wasn't already committed to another show that night, I would have gone to see her again when she played here on the 7th.

I was one of Richard's guests for this show. I had never heard of her but I trusted his judgment. By the second verse of the first song I was hooked. I bought her CD at the merch table and my roommate and I are officially obsessed with her. In fact, I can't stop thinking about the show. Although it was only one hour it was amazing. The girl can blow. Damn! And she's funny and sweet between songs and boy, she's sexy. And the energy between her and her band (is she with the guitar player? they seemed into each other) is fantastic. I love discovering a new artist based on a live performance.

It's trippy though, that people automatically assume there's a relationship happening. If it was a group of guys w/ great rapport people wouldn't automatically think they were fucking each other, but b/c there's a female involved folks tend to think otherwise. Maybe there's no fucking within' & she just has a great give & take onstage w/ the band
