Can't say I didn't see this coming... Nicole Scherzinger's solo debut album has been postponed more times than we can count - literally. After a pair (VC's note: There were actually FOUR singles sent to radio, with a fifth - Physical - on its way) of lackluster singles that failed to connect with audiences and get any radio airplay, her record currently doesn't even have a release date. And, it seems like it may never come out! If it does, Nicole's effort won't get the promotion and tour support that both Gwen Stefani and Fergie put into their discs when stepping away from their respective bands. Whatmore, Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin has revealed that Scherzinger is back with the band and focused on PCD. So long solo project! Says Antin, "We're in the studio right now. Nicole is 100% back with us. She actually never left. She was working on her solo stuff and it's out there and people will hear that, but she actually wants to focus on Pussycat Dolls right now. He wanted to pull Nicole out after one record just because they had 7 singles and strong world wide sales, but he wanted her to be a carbon copy of stefani and fergie and rihanna, and i think the world is just getting a little tired of them, i mean how many times can Will i Am and Ne-yo write the same song and make every single female artist sound the same. So this was his fault and now, honestly, i dont think PCD will even have a chance to get back in with their sound because other groups like Danity Kane are already doing full out pop/dance records. So he missed the boat, the original plan had the PCD album coming out right now, at this rate they are saying late summer possibly fourth quarter 2008, which is WAY too long between albums. Robin Antin, though she is the original founder, she is already working on another group from a reality show called "Girlicious" which is dumb since by the time the show is done and their album is ready, so will PCD's. Universal really dropped the ball on this one, they should have had a PCD record out already, Im starting to think that 50 Cent was right when he called Jimmy Iovine an asshole, because he kept flipping schedules. Why don't they just take the songs on Nicole's CD and re-record them with the other girls? Nicole's songs are the same shit hop garbage that the Pussycat Dolls are doing anyway It would save the record company alot of money,too. | |

But for all the critics to use her birth giving last name as an excuse for those flaws is the most offensive thing that anyone from the media establishment can put out there. I dare to say that these critics need to be ashame of themselves. It would have been too easy for Nicole to use the "Nicole Kea" persona to get by as a potential pop star.
