Man, I have such a love hate relationship with Lenny. He definitely does funk better than he does rock (when will he realize this??). This song had potential, but he wears his influences so much and doesn't try to add anything new to it. I hadn't even heard the song and I knew how the melody was going to go. But I give him props for doing what he is doing and he has written some great songs (exp. Heaven Help). It's just hard for me to come back to him after Baptism. Honestly, what the fuck was that? | |
