Artists/Groups that annoy you!! Now, before everyone gets preachy, this isn't a condemnation of the artists/groups as I fully appreciate that some of them are talented folk....but for some reason, whether it be their music or just them, they really grate on me. Who are you unexplainable musical annoyances??
The Beatles/Paul Mcartney - Boy do I get some stick for this! Elton John - His tunes get on my tits KT Tunstall - Damn cherry tree. Robbie Williams - Just don't think he is funny as he likes to think he is 50 Cent - For mistaking getting shot with talent [Edited 2/21/08 9:20am] www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

Mariah Carey - When I look at her career, I can't believe that she's closing in on the Beatles record of #1 singles; for quite a long time, she seemed to put out the same song over and over again (Dreamlover/Fantasy/Honey/Heartbreaker/Loverboy). Plus, I just overall think she's trash. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

"artists" with no or little talent annoy me. I could name hundreds, but I'll just choose a few as I'm sure you'll get my drift.
Britney Spears Lindsay Lohan The Simpson Sisters Ciara 50 Cent (including all other thug-type rappers) The Spice Girls American Idol winners (with the exception of Carrie Underwood) Any Death metal groups Black Eyed Peas (all of them including Will, but especially Fergie) [Edited 2/21/08 9:45am]

Go to the Billboard charts and pick as many names as you like. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Black Eyed Peas – definition of ‘corny’ and naming a song ‘Let’s Get Retarded’
Britney Spears – How? 50 Cent – Why? Ludacris Jessica Simpson Ashlee Simpson – Gave hoe downs a bad name Keyshia Cole Clay Aiken - :shivers: On 2nd thought, every contestant from AI excluding JHud Ashanti - :crickets: Beyonce - here, there, everywhere Lil Wayne – definition of ‘gross’ Lil Kim Foxy Brown Lindsay Lohan – I actually rooted for this chick but no more Chris Isaak – Creepy bastard Every single ‘band’ from Making the Band. Most popular male R&B singers under the age of 35 Rap acts outside of my top 10 Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Michael Jackson - In part due to his insistance on remaining a 14 year old mentally, and his soppy/sappy music, but mainly I'm annoyed by his fanbase. MJ is a prime example of a group of fanatics ruining an artist's music for the masses. I've never considered him (and never will) a musical genius, but I did respect him for the 20 or so songs of his that I actually did like. However, with the exception of 4 or 5 songs, I can barely listen to MJ nowadays because of the insanity that swirls around in the hardcore. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

Is it because of his fetish for Asian women or something else ? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! I definitely hear you on this, but when I do listen to MJ these days, I try very hard not to think of the man and to just concentrate on the music. However, the thoughts of him performing or releasing another album do nothing for me at all. I think it would just be a media circus and I hate that shit. Mj's day has come and gone IMO.

I can really only listen to "Dirty Diana", "Who Is It", "Human Nature", "PYT" and at a pinch, "Scream" nowadays. Otherwise, all I can think of is the nutcases that troll messageboards solely to support Jacko. But, it's no big loss because he never really was one of my musical idols. Granted, I do have most of his Sony albums, but I pretty much grew out of MJ around my freshman year of college. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

With all due respect, I find this more than a little ridiculous. The way someone's fans act actually affects your view on the musician and his music? Really? I like what I like and it doesn't matter to me what others say or do. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
