Guys, that was the whole point of the My Life album. Every song samples or builds around an important song in her life. Outside of the actual cover, "I'm Going Down," the album is new lyrical content set to songs she loves. And it's excellent -- still her best. Man, I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling that way about My Life. I usually get blasted for not liking it, but I guess it's just a personal thing. It's okay to feel that way too. I'm totally not knocking you for it. I actually think Share My World is better than My Life. But at least on Growing Pains, she ain't used too many samples.
