I absolutely adore this song. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I had never seen the official video before. Very nice.
That live version is exactly like when I saw it except that Emma has since added go-go boots to her outfit.

I really like this song. I never really paid much attention to her before I heard it. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I love "Maybe." It's very Bacharachesque. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

that's the exact description i've used for it a few times. I think this song is absolutely fantastic - I've loved it for years in fact, and if the album is in the same vein I'd definitely like to hear it. In fact, I'm pretty sure Mr. Sextonseven once told me that the album was mostly in this style and was quite good. If you're out there, correct me if I'm wrong.

Emma's entire 'Free Me' album is indeed similar in sound to this single. For some reason I thought you had bought it already. I was stunned when I saw Emma perform it in the flesh last week.
