http://www.youtube.com/wa...GWF3zZ6YBM Never dug them much, and were so overhyped and overplayed at the time. Dont mind "please dont go" though, and the newjack "motownphilly" is still cool. Other then that and maybe the remix of "sympin'", never liked them. Vocally they were show-offs aswell. Musta gone to the Mariah Carey school of singing. Technically supurb, but little passion to my ears.

I like these guys. they seemed to have ran out of steam after Nathan Shawna Michael Wayna, which i heard they were more involved in; which I liked, they can definitely write their own songs, but I guess by 2000 noone was paying attention to them. They seem content to become a nostalgia act doing covers of other peoples songs, rather than change with the times or make something more innovative which is their preogative. They did an awesome cover of "More Love" from the Smokey Robinson Tribute, so you can't say the Boys didn't have talent

For a group that received so much noteriety in their heyday, Boyz II Men fell off the face of the planet nearly as fast as they shot up. I never felt they individually had standout voices or personas and felt they were a little generic. They benefitted from working with some great producers and given standout material, hence their popularity.
