And all of my life no-one gave me anything
I think those are the coldest lyrics ever written.

Good choice (he looks great in this video)- I'll listen to this then move onto "I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday"...
I'll wallow in self pity and search for the real meaning of Valentines...x

Oh ...
I know Im unloveable
You dont have to tell me
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours
Oh ...

I know Im unloveable
You dont have to tell me
Oh, message received
Loud and clear
Loud and clear
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours

I know Im unloveable
You dont have to tell me
For message received
Loud and clear
Loud and clear
Message received
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours

I wear black on the outside
cause black is how I feel on the inside
I wear black on the outside
cause black is how I feel on the inside

And if I seem a little strange
Well, thats because I am
If I seem a little strange
Thats because I am

But I know that you would like me
If only you could see me
If only you could meet me

Oh ...
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours
I dont have much in my life
But take it - its yours
Mmm ...
Oh ...

_____

Yes, I am blind
No, I can't see
The good things
Just the bad things, oh...

Yes, I am blind
No, I can't see
There must be something
Horribly wrong with me ?

God, come down
If you're really there
Well, you're the one who claims to care

Love's young dream
I'm the one who shopped you
I'm the one who stopped you
'Cause in my sorry way I love you
Love's young dream
Are you sorry
For what you've done ?
Well, you're not the only one
And in my sorry way I love you

Yes, I am blind
But I do see
Evil people prosper
Over the likes of you and me
ALWAYS

God, come down
If you're really there
Well, you're the one who claims to care

Little lamb
On a hill
Run fast if you can
Good Christians, they want to kill you
And your life has not even begun !
You're just like me, you're just like me
Oh, your life has not even begun !
You're just like me, you're just like me
And your life has not even begun !
You're just like me, just like me
And your life has not even begun !
You're just like me, you're just like, just like me

OK who knew about this 1991 non-album single "My Love Life"???

Not as dreary as "Seasick, Yet Still Docked" (the first song on this topic, for you lurkers).

I did!

(Isn't it Chrissie Hynde on backing vocals...?)

One of his weaker singles though....

Too slight for my liking.

Best Moz song to listen to for singles on Valentines Day is his latest one!

Whatever you do folks, don't EVER listen to I Know It's Over in the aftermath of a relationship split. (Incidentally, doesn't the guitar motif that appears towards the middle of that song remind you of the guitar line in 2000 Miles by the Pretenders? Which brings us back to Chrissie H....)
This is not an exit

I love her backing on this and can you remember her being in the "Sing Your Life" video- decked out in her 50's wear...fantastic!

I have listened to "I Know It's Over" after/during two very intense incidents in my life when I was younger- I still cannot play it now without wanting to cry and pound the floor! I will actually die if he ever plays it live when I'm in the audience...

Honestly? He has a whole catalog of devastating songs so I am surprised by this exceptional reaction! What album is "I Know It's Over" from?

Okay, this thread is way too depressing.
Time for something a bit more uplifting
