My favorite Bar-Kays album. It features my favorite song from them, "Do It (Let Me See You Shake)," as well as "She Talks to Me with Her Body." I also liked the title track, "Anticipation," "I Can't Believe You're Leaving Me," "You Made a Change in My Life" and "(Busted)."

P.S. "Propositions" was released in late November 1982, making it a little more than 25 years old.

Why are funk CDs so hard to find?! mad And why do they put this stuff on CD,then it becomes "out of print" soon thereafter? This happened alot in the 90s.I remember seeing Rick James' 'Bustin Out Of L7' CD at a record store in the mid-90s,but then it went out of print before I could buy it!! I also recall seeing War's 'Outlaw' CD in the mid-90s.I shoulda bought it when I saw it,because it too went out of print very quickly. What's up with these limited edition funk CDs?!

Add the commodores caught in the act to the list.

that one,too nod

That one is called "Dangerous". It contains:

Freakshow on the Dancefloor
Make Believe Lovers
Loose Talk
Dance, Party, Etc.
Dangerous
Dirty Dancer
Lovers Should Never Fall In Love
Sex-O-Matic

You all are old. razz And thanks for helping me to remember what the name of that song was (Dance Party Etc). My brother has this album and when he and I get together, it's on. When Dance Party Etc. comes on it stops me in my tracks wondering who is that P or the Bar Kays. 2 darn close.

That's the one! I remember this album very well.It was a big hit in the summer of '84.I especially love the song "Dirty Dancer",which has a "Billie Jean" vibe to it.I also like "Dance,Party,Etc" which sounds alot like Prince's "DMSR"."If I remember correctly,"Lovers Should Never Fall In Love" is a great slow jam.
