Hell yeah.

Hopefully, if it does happen they won't fall into the rip the fans off with $500 tickets like the Police, for which I paid for.

And another pet peeve would be keeping the same setlist for several legs of a tour like the Police.
Music is the best...

i can see them only being able to play together once, and i'd assume it would be a club show (or maybe a festival gig?) rather than an arena tour. from everything i've read and heard, david and tina hate - HATE - each other, and so i think another reunion like their RNRHOF gig would be a minor miracle. but hey - they're all still alive and making music, so anything is possible... smile

My favorite part though was Emma singing "Maybe" solo. I knew what all the other girls' solo tracks would be and yet I totally forgot/didn't know Emma would sing that song which I love. The performance was very go-go 60s and most of the audience wasn't as into it as I was. She must have chosen it specifically for me. razz

Oooh. She did "Maybe" live?! Wow. That's a great album. Too bad it wasn't her whole concert. I'd be over the moon if she also performed "I'll Be There" and "Crickets Sing For Anamaria."

I was very impressed by the production. I saw them at the Prudential Center in New Jersey which is a brand new facility. The entire thing was very glitzy. Plus I was on the floor in the 27th row, but the times when the girls would perform in the center part of the stage that extended out into the audience, it was more like sitting in the sixth row, I was so close to them. There were lots of screens with films and lights à la Madonna. My favorite part though was Emma singing "Maybe" solo. Free Me and Life In Mono are flawless albums.

i'm glad you enjoyed the show.

I have Free Me but not Life In Mono. I listened to samples of the latter on iTunes and it sounds like a slightly inferior Free Me, but still not bad. I may still get it.

Yeah, I don't know why I was so surprised. I only realized afterward that a solo Emma show, if by some bizarre chance it should ever happen, is something I can't miss--like the Mel C show I ditched on Saturday to see Siouxsie. That was a no-brainer. If it was Emma however, the choice would have been more difficult--still the same, but more difficult.
