I suggest trying out 1992's Ingénue. It's the perfect place to start. "Save Me" is like the greatest song ever.

Similar title, same year of release, similar production, every song's a knockout. They have different styles, but they're equally impressive vocalists. And they really branched out and challenged themselves on those records.

Sorry I have to go with her cowpunk country stuff. While I like everything she has released, her cowpunk stuff just had a fun carefree excitement to them. After Shadowland she went a bit to mellow for me.
Still love her though, and enjoying her new release. p.s. I still recommend finding Reintarnation her Sire compilation that came out bout 2 yrs ago. good stuff. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.
