Discussion: Carole King, Tapestry This is one of my favorite albums.
I love "It's Too Late," "You've Got A Friend," "Where You Lead," "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman." Are there any orgers who like this albums as well? If so, what are your favorite songs? | |

One of the best albums from the 70's.

the 70's and most of the 80's were the last GREAT album decades. It was the advent of CD's that runied that whole thing, the fact you could drop the needle anywhere and have a great song, you were forced to make great records. Because who the hell wanted to get up and move the needle. CD's and the "skip" not to mention 20 track 80 minute "nightmares" ruined it all. That's my childhood too,altho I don't think I listen to lesbian music. Not that I know of anyway,except maybe "Wendy & Lisa" 
However,that's so many great songs on "Tapestry". I like the arrangments too in it's simplicity. /peace Manki | |

Many songwriters today needs to go back and listen to this timeless stuff that went into this classic. I Feel The Earth Move, It's Too Late, So Far Away, and Where You Lead are just memerizing. You don't hear a lot of this in today's music landscape. Check me out and add me on:

Great album indeed. Fave songs are "It's Too Late", "I Feel The Earth Move", "So Far Away" and "You've Got A Friend". "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

A good album needs only 6-8 tracks and about 40 minutes of runtime  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
