Herbie Hancock's win last night for best album at the Grammys got me thinking about the album that introduced me to him, Future Shock. I was ten at the time, and Rockit was the breakdancing song that year. We wore out a lot of cardboard to that tune.

I've since learned more about his career, but have only scratched the surface of his catalog. That he's managed to stay in the game and still be relevant after 45+ years is amazing to me.
