A couple of nights ago, I was watching a documentary which focused on what is currently known about the planet Jupiter. And one of the things that it explained was how the huge gas-giant acted as a shield for the Earth by capturing within it's masssive gravitational field many meteorites that otherwise would have streaked towards our planet's area of influence. And thereby helping to prevent the possibilty of collisions between our world with that of space-boulders which possess masses substantial enough to cause the end of life as we know it.

When I see videos like this,
all I can do is shake an angry fist up at the stars & say, " Fuck you, Jupiter...." mad
