Gawd, that pic...I can't stand over half of the adults in it (and Madge can be bloody annoying sometimes too)!!

I wonder if TomKat gave M the hard sell about Scientology? Maybe she'll switch over from the Kabbalah cult to a new one?! Imagine her doing a recruiting video like Tom's! omfg

No, she's 5 kinds of crazy in her own way that have nothing to do with Scientology.

Scientology or Kabbalah, it's a free world and people have the right to practice their own beliefs as they see fit. I don't believe in Madonna nor Cruise's respective "religions", but the fear-mongering has reached
a level of hypocritical hysteria.

Scientologist Kirstie Alley made a good point in defending Tom Cruise saying that picking on the religion is really a form of bigotry. I never looked at it that way before she said that to be quite honest but now I have adjusted my view.

Love ya, Cinnie, but...

If the "religion" didn't involve a pyramid scheme, intimidation and trying to discredit the discipline of psychiatry , perhaps people wouldn't "pick" on it.

Why not?

Why is christianity a religion; what about JW?

They are way more crazy than scientologists.

As far as i know scientology books do no talk about killing gay people or murdering non believers unlike certain books religious people follow.

Why not?

Because it was created by L. Ron Hubbard and Hubbard wrote that it was a psychotherapeutic science and not a religion. He decided to call it a religion years later to avoid certain governmental inquiries and increase revenue, and indicated so. It is now, today, a mass of corporations all promoting the same beliefs and materials, of which certain of them are called religions where that is legally convenient, and certain of them are called businesses where that is legally convenient.

Regarding others' concerns about "bigotry" and "hysteria", I can only offer - What kind of "church" has members who are Disappeared when they no longer want to practice their religion?

My statements are of course all just an opinion.
