Thanks y'all. I'm working for a little while this evening and I'll be working for a little while Saturday night. The times I work at night are the only times I have access to a computer (my co-worker's).

What money? When I work at night, they just give me those hours off in the daytime. Hell, I'd rather have overtime. lol

Oh hell yeah,I LOVE this song!! headbang I always thought the lead singer sounds kinda like Diana Ross.I bet Diana would have liked to record this song, back in 1979.

it wasn't a recent one. It was an lp that came out with a different lp cover but at the same time the actual lp came out. I thought at the time they were different songs but the songs on both were the same. I was thinking it was re-issued at that time (70's) wink

I didn't know there was a 12 inch version to this! now I would love to have that!

"Best Of My Love" by the Emotions (1977)
"Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn (1978)
"It Must Be Love" by Alton McClain and Destiny (1979)

All three of these songs have a similiar melody.I like to think of them as "cousins" lol

They have a similar groove and tempo also. I always like to mix those three back to back.

Last summer,I went on a vinyl dig in Atlanta, and I came across the Alton McClain and Destiny album.I didn't buy it,though. It wasn't in the best condition.I hope I find another copy someday.
