Stone Temple Pilots anyone? How many people like their music? I certainly do. Scott Weiland is some singer.

Excellent Band -
I played their first two cds to deatch. I still adore 'Plush' and 'Sex Type Thing' and my all-time favorite cruising song is Interstate Love Song. I'm going to go see them for a third time with Aerosmith in a week in Houston. "No Eternal Reward will Forgive Us Now for Wasting the Dawn"

Yes. Weiland is a rock star. I've got all their albums and sometimes I enjoy them very much.

I enjoyed their last album "Shangri-la-di-da" but for my money, their absolute best album is "Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop". Nearly flawless album that shows how good they really are.

It's funny, I have all their albums but I rarely listen to them. They have some kickass songs though. I really liked No. 4 (pretty much all of it), the others are hit & miss for me...

OK, I personally think that the Stone Temple Pilots of the last 8 or 9 years sound nothing like Pearl Jam. For one thing, they have way more variety in their music than Pearl Jam does. They aren't afraid to make a really good soft song for example. Every Pearl Jam song I've ever heard sounds the same.
