Stevie Wonder I would just like 2 say im a huge fan of Stevie.Ofcourse.he has to be one of the best talents from the Mowtown. When i listened 2 his 2005 album titled A Time 2 Love its nice to see he's still got it! Stevie i think has a great gift not just musicaly but vocaly. He has a joyfulness to him and makes u feel that when he sings. Even when he sings songs that are political or about love threw his amazing voice you can really feel his hurt, sadness or urgency and this whats puts him above most other artists.I think most importantly this is what what makes Stevie the legend that he is
Please share your on views on this great artist - peace [Edited 2/6/08 18:52pm] Everybody's looking 4 the ladder

What can I say that hasn't been said about this man. He's one of the reasons why i've ever loved music in the first place. This is truly my ultimate musical hero. [Edited 2/6/08 19:14pm] Check me out and add me on:

Oh, since Nathan Watts has been playing bass with Stevie for ages, it might be safe to assume that's him on bass. I would put it in my top ten. I went on a vinyl dig last month and this one was on sale for 10 dollars where as the other vinyl lp's were 2 and 3 dollars. The album had the original lyrics and the bonus 45. Did i make a mistake in not getting it? I betcha if i went to that same store tomorrow i would not get it. Don't laugh at my funk

I think Innervisions is a notch above Songs, but you can't lose with either one. An icon of American music. Anyone ever heard the Howard Stern interview? Stevie had me rolling. He's known for being a prankster, and he fit right in with Stern. Howard's always been a fan.

Stevie is easily my second fav artist of the 70's (Bowie is the Nº1)
Nevertheless, is it just me or most of his 60's albums are somewhat uneven? [Edited 2/8/08 11:05am]

I saw him in September for the first time! He's my favorite. I've been quit to point out how Stevie's voice has gone to hell over the past decade. But he sounded like gold during the concert!! I guess all the touring, and inspiration from Mama, will do that for you. What was funny, though, was that Stevie hit a big sour note during "If It's Magic", and all he did was laugh, crack a joke, and finish the song as beautifully as he had started it. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

He sounded in great voice when he introduced Alicia Keys last night!
Nailed the high note of her song with ease when she couldn't even sing it herself during the performance haha.. When a dude can hit the high notes of a lasses song AND sound beautiful doing it, you know he got skills! _ Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

Stevie!
I sound like the hugest dork for this, but I adore that song he did with 98 Degrees for the Mulan soundtrack, True to Your Heart. It makes me feel so completely happy and joyous, words can't describe. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
