I doubt it will do as good next week... but who cares, it's a rerelease without any big promotion activity!

It's a good thing that the album is-once again- a big succes,
it's a great album so...
But the release was all over the news, radio & telvision stations,
songs from the album have been getting airplay for weeks now,
so I do think the album got it's promotion.

Also, how come this re-release does it so much better than the
2001 remaster??? An anniversary always sells,I think..

( I just bought Off The Wall remaster, for only 6 euro!!
,also a great album) wink

It sucks that OTW didn't have a 25th anniversary re-release, but there are talks of a Bad 25th anniversary re-release in 2012. The only way I would ever be happy with a Bad re-release would be if they included the many unreleased Bad sessions songs we have not yet heard. It was originally a double album with 32 tracks. I want to hear the other 21.

Mike could easily release a box set of his unreleased joints on three CDs, he don't have to re-release an old album to do it and I doubt he'll do it if BAD 25 comes out. Besides I don't wanna see T-Pain and Rihanna fucking up "Bad" and "The Way You Make Me Feel". neutral

Apart from the hype and the world-wide tours there is nothing groundbreaking about Bad so I doubt a 25th anniversary of Bad would even be considered.

Not gonna happen. Thriller got a re-release because it's the best selling album worldwide and the most hyped album in music history. Bad is much less loved as an album, and another 25th anniversary re-release would hurt MJ even more (if that's possible) and it would prove yet again that he can't make new music and is just a nostalgia act at this point.

WBSS looks like it will be a physical single now: http://www.play4me.com.au..._2350.html and TGIM has been released on itunes and will also be a physical single in Australia (has that been said yet?)

These are my pics of the Thriller Japanese version (clickable thumbs):

OK, so some shit is definitely going down. Any long time MJ fans will remembered or would've heard of LTTW (Looking Through the Window) and SOTT (Sitting on the Toilet). Two forum users (although, that's debatable, some say it was the same guy) who were supposed MJ "insiders". There was a post on the clubmichaeljackson.com forum last night in the new album thread from a poster with the username "sottlttw" (sitting on the toilet, looking through the window??) and this poster claimed to have been hand-given documents from a Sony BMG intern regarding MJ's new album. To be specific, there were 2 documents. One was a tracklist and the other was a proposed promotional schedule. I was kinda skeptical about it but still intrigued. I went back to that forum today and found that some posts had been made in regards to these documents but the documents had been deleted. Unfortunately I didn't even think to save the documents or take a screencap. But some of the posts following the now deleted post containing the documents give us some idea of what was in those documents...

OMG! If that is real I could just die right now.....As soon as I read Australia my eyes went soooo big! lol, but doesn't Connen always poke fun at mike, and I can;t imagine him going on all those TV shows...Performing Ellen is awesome cos I always watch that...but im a little skeptical....well, ok, really skeptical.

But I like he album list, it's as short as Thriller about though. But yeh...but im so scared cos if he DOES tour I don't want to miss out on tickets or anything!!!!!

Ok, I swear I saw 2 lists a minute ago unless my computers being stupid...

I deleted it. It was private info that should not have been posted about Michael's album. And upcoming events that weren't even set in the public yet.

I was skeptical about the leaked documents until I saw that last post. The mod didn't say it was deleted because it was fake. They said it was deleted because it was private and should not have been posted. Clubmichaeljackson.com is not an overly popular forum but the forum founder/main admin is like best buddies with Raymone Bain. So my theory is these documents were emailed to her, she shit herself because it was legit information that was not supposed to find it's way to the fans yet and requested that the post be deleted immediately. That's the theory I'm sticking with anyway because I thought the documents looked real and I liked the sound of the track list and the promotional events Michael plans on doing over the next year or so. I want to believe it. Because it sounded awesome. But it looked so legit. You can usually tell if something's faked. These had Sony BMG logos and stuff on them. It looked real and the track list and promo schedule seemed plausible. I think it's legit.

I have bad news about it. The promo single that leaked has this tracklist:

01. Johnny Vicious Radio Mix (3:38)
02. Johnny Vicious Club Remix (9:03)
03. Johnny Vicious Warehouse Thrilla Dub (7:25)
04. Radio Edit (3:51)

Personally I don't think that there is a full solo 08 version. Only the original demo.

WBSS08 is basicly a Akon solo track with a MJ demo snippet in it

As I said, the documents have been removed, so this is just from memory. But the title of the album was "Loaded Palette" which I think related to own of the songs on the track list that was called "Paint the Future". Could this be the will.i.am-made song we've been hearing about called "The Future"? That's one the title that stuck out. Another one that stuck out, more because of the featuring artist than the title was called "Tonight (Someone Will Fall in Love)" featuring Santana. There was another song called "Only a Game" or something. Most of them were love songs with very typical sounding title for love songs. There was one other interesting title. "Be Like Me (Get in Line)" which sounds like a dig at JT, Chris Brown and all them. But I don't know. I can't remember every song title. The ones I mentioned were the only real memorable titles. There were 11 tracks in all. I've PMed some people on the forum asking if anyone saved it before it was deleted.

Probably is. But I definitely wouldn't complain if it wasn't. A may release date, a nice short track list with Quincy Jones on one song, a world tour. I'd love it.

Even though it would be nice and really help his promotion, there is no way MJ would do a late night show with David Lettermen or goes on the Ellen Degeneres show. I just dont see MJ being outoging to the point where he would do shows like this.
